A question? A problem? A challenge?

You have ideas. You have abilities. You have answers.

Let's explore them.

A trained and practising coach, I work with writers to help them explore and express their own creativity.

Just so we're clear, here's what I'm not going to do:
- I'm not going to critique your grammar,
- I'm not going to offer my top ten tips for instant success, and
- above all I'm not going to promise to get your book published.

But I do love good writing, and I do love seeing individuals articulate their distinctive ideas.

So
- if you've always thought you'd like to be a writer, but you aren't sure how to start, or
- you find yourself short of ideas, or clarity, or confidence, or
- you've just hit a block,

we could have a conversation and explore some ways forward.

Just pop your email address in the box below, and I'll be in touch to find out where you are with your writing,
and whether I might be useful to you.

This contact is confidential, relaxed, free and without any obligation whatsoever. I'd just like to hear your story...

Thanks for writing.
Sincerely, Rob

"Rob's questions invite reflection and deeper engagement with my writing, both of which create clarity and a new sense of direction... I felt understood and supported, and that there was a way forwards."

"You put me at my ease... It felt completely natural... For a first-time novelist it was extraordinarily encouraging... You showed me not to be afraid of making changes... making me really think about the feasibility, both emotional and structural, of what I was doing.... offering an overview of the plot/structure... as a sounding board. ... You treated me as an equal, and accepted me without question as a writer... You seemed to understand that it isn't an easy thing to do, and your friendly and supportive manner helped immensely... The talks we've had, and the suggestions you've made, have definitely improved my work. Your care not only for the material you were looking at but for the importance of writing as a whole, really comes through. And you make it something to enjoy!"
